Mentoring as an opportunity for growth

Three weeks ago I had lunch with my first coaching trainer and mentor Kathryn Woodeson. We had a very stimulating conversation but this morning we had to follow up via zoom as I need to quarantine. My family got COVID, a mild version so we are all good and healthy now.

Kathryn inspired me today again. She and her husband James Woodeson, PCC have decades of experience working within organisations and the core of their business is to bring a coaching leadership style to the corporate world.

I did my first coaching program with them, a 2-day Coaching Skills Certificate Course where I learned the foundations of coaching. I was amazed at how impactful active listening and exploratory questions can be in support of others. The quality of my conversations improved at all levels and I took the next step, a 4-month program so I could complete my accredited coach training.

Don’t miss the growth opportunity of reaching out to your mentor!
